Michael Poteran, Founder and Managing Partner, brings nearly three decades of senior leadership experience aligning people, priorities, and decisions. Throughout his career, he led customer strategies valued at more than $1 billion for Fortune 100 companies.
Michael founded Swift & Rye on the belief that building a custom home deserves intentional leadership, thoughtful planning, and clear communication. His connection to Reynolds Lake Oconee spans two decades, giving him a deep appreciation for the community and the homes that define it. Today, he brings the right people together and guides the decisions that turn each client’s vision into an exceptional home.

Gary West brings more than 30 years of construction leadership and a lifetime immersed in the building industry. His experience spans custom homes, residential development, and founding, owning, and operating an electrical contracting company with more than 80 employees. He lives locally and has built homes throughout the Lake Oconee community.
Gary transforms thoughtful planning into exceptional execution, coordinating trade partners and maintaining the quality, precision, and accountability behind every Swift & Rye home.
